I original saw them on a F348 GTC. I had to have a set. Actually the ones on the F348 GTC are kelvar. I bought my carbon fibre sills from Heiko off Ebay. If you type in Ferrari 348 Door Sills you will come up with the site. Their is a picture on the site showing them on. They were not cheap but what the heck they look excellent. My F348 Spyder has only covered 27,000 miles. I removed the original metal door sills and found they had already started to rust. The carbon fibre ones you will not have this problem. I will try and get some photos this weekend to you. I have been try for over a year to get a set. The ones at the main dealer or nearly a 1000 each. Plus you can only buy them if you own a F348 GTC because the dealer asks for the chassis No. They fit exactly like the metal ones. The one thing is the Metal sill has bends around to form a protective on the edge of the sill. The Kelvar or carbon Fibre ones do not. You need to be more careful not to catch the edge of the sill. I will not change back, only if the car is sold. The carbon fibre sills fit exactly onto the F355. Kindest Regards, Justin

I have carbon fibre door sills on my F348 Spider. The F348 GTC has them as well as standard. |

Byron Unscrew the three screws on the sill cover. - One at each end, and one in the middle - and it will pull off - (They are towards the door seal) No need to take the rubber strip off. Paul

Hey everyone, I found this old link: http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/2302.html Is removing the door sill as easy as peeling off the rubber 'Ferrari' strip and unscrewing a few screws? Thanks Byron |
