If you are looking, note the year and look up the VIN as the model years had different belts in the rear. My 89 was inadequate (IMHO) for my two kids (4-6) so I mounted Sparcos. My 92 had three point in the rear but the front belts were not very good for spirited driving. (Automatic) Good luck... JMG |

I say no-way-o on the valeo! Yes, it is the one on ebay. I was thinking it would be cool to have a Mondial T so I've been shopping around a bit. Then I wouldn't have my 5 and 7 year old arguing who gets the next F car ride! There's a very pretty 400i convertible on ebay as well... thanks for the info fellas! Scotty |

Must be the ebay version that has been discussed lately here on FChat...it has an automatically actuated clutch. You shift, it clutches... - JMG |

It's also mad money to fix and forever and a day for parts. |

It's a standard shifter without a clutch pedal. Similar to the old VW transmission |

I was looking at some pics of a Mondial T with a "rare" Valeo tranny. Said it was an auto, but the pic looked like it had the usual gated shifter. Anybody have the 411 on this? Seemed a bit odd. Thanks! Scotty |
