I get all my gold cad nylock nuts from Global Metrics 800-247-2722 ask for Lori or Lynda. You have to buy them in bulk but I have gone through lots on my work. Sometimes the nylon is white. They have lots of other metric stuff. I have bought from newco (great stuff, very correct)but the price of one nut from them you can get 25 from global, they even have assortment sets |

I searched everywhere for these for the cam covers on my 400 V12 and could not find any exactly the same. I found some stainless steel ones that are about half-way there but looked too different for my needs. I also found some 'identical' - or so I was told - in California but for just under $5 each! The Ferrari UK ones are about 1 each, as I recall. I did find some very similar but without the nyloc insert after I had bought the ones I needed. I guess a drop of Loctite would hold them in place though. I can check the price if you are interested. Simon 1977 400 Auto in London |

I'm looking for a source for these nuts...and I don't mind purchasing them in quantity. I been buying the 6mm acorn ones from Ferrari-UK, but would prefer to find a non-dealer source here in the states for the numerous other larger sized nylocks that are used on the F'cars.... Thanks, David |
