Had a similar problem on my spider. My thoughts were the same as James - adjust the linkage. Then I noticed the shift gate plate had become mis-alligned because a screw was not tightened. I simply corrected the gate allignment and tightened it up. Buzzing or vibrating sound was cured. Easier then the linkage adjustment. Try this first. |

Adjusting the linkage should clear it up. Until you do don't hold it "away" as this can damage syncros. |

My 348 developed a buzzing sound of late, it seems to be originating from the gear lever (only in 5th) I can hold it away from the gate and if I really hang onto it I can stop the buzzing Any help on this, its driving me nuts.. |
