>>PS Although I think we'd all agree the Koni color is virtually orange, doesn't Koni refer to it as "red"? << Well, the old Koni color is called Koni Shock Orange...Stoddard p/n NLA.095.010.000 but NEW Koni's are a different color and you're right it's Red. |

Whew!....I'm not a dumb ass. Actually, $50.00 of the cost was removing my springs. Had I known that they would charge so much to do that, I would have done it myself. Richelson, their address is www.truechoice.com. |

New Konis won't have the end bushings included so take that into account too when doing the $ comparison. (Although I never seem to be able to accept the downtime of doing this) another advantage of having Truechoice rebuild your Konis is I believe that they can add adjustable (threaded) lower spring perches for ride height adjustment (for more $ of course). PS Although I think we'd all agree the Koni color is virtually orange, doesn't Koni refer to it as "red"? |

Jerry, I'm just curious. The rebuilts cost for the rears is not a great deal less then new ones. Why did you decide to rebuild rather then go with a new set? |

Jerry do you have the contact information for True Choice? My shocks appear to be original. |

Stoddard Imported Cars...ask for Koni Orange. But before you order the real Koni Orange, I'd check with whoever painted them to make sure that's what they used. |

Believe it or not, Chev engine orange is almost a perfect match, and cheap too. |

Anyone know what brand and where I can locally get paint to match the factory orange? I just had my shocks rebuilt and re-painted at True Choice and bought new (lower ride height) springs. While compressing the springs, the spring compressor scratched the hell out of my shocks. Thanks in advance! Jerry. |
