Gary, That's a real tough one to do. I removed the hose ends, coming from the T-fitting, from the heater cores. Once free, I attached the ends of the new hoses to the newly liberated ones. I then worked a piece of rope around the hose, that formerly was connected to the drivers side heater core, and worked it back toward the T-fitting. By pushing on the heater core hoses and simultaneously pulling on the rope and long hose going to the radiator tube, I was able to kink the driver's side hose and began to pull the hose assembly toward the front of the car, to expose the T-assembly. While pulling heater tube hose and rope, it's helpful to push the old heater core hoses back toward the windshield. Once the T-assembly is accessable, you can disconnect the old hoses and pull the attached replacement hoses to the T fitting. Disconnect the old hose and reconnect the new hoses to the T-assembly. Repositioning the new hoses consists of pulling the new hose ends back toward the heater cores and pushing the T-assembly back into place under the windshield. It would be helpful if you lubed the new heater core hoses with perhaps silicone spray to facilitate sliding the new heater hoses back into place. The heater hose going to the passenger side needs the most help. Hope this helps. Bill |

I've been replacing the hoses throughout my car and have managed to do them all without much difficulty, however...... The hose that goes from the bottom radiator aluminum tube up the left side then ends up at a "T" behind the brake booster. Its about 6 feet long. Is there an easy way to get to this "T" juction? It seems impossible to work your hand in there to do this work. Any ideas??? Thanks .....Gary |
