I was told and have used 0.003 inch between the pad and rotor on the rear. To my knowledge there is no adjustment on the front. Ciao |

Seem to recall .004" clearance between pads and rotors on the rear. Not sure about the fronts, you'll have to ask an expert. DJ |

Try this, I have the article printed up and this is the site, www.ferrariforum.net/tech/view.php?id=13. You can also try, the 914 caliper rebuild article which, as I understand, has a lot in common with F*calipers, www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/914_caliper_rebuild.htm. I know I will be doing mine some day and I know I'll never find the thread. I am making a binder of all of the how to DIY articles for future reference. I keep it in the shop for quick reference It's paying off already. Hope this helps, DJ |

Any advise would be appreciated. I just rebuilt my calipers and had my rotors ground and plated, how far should I turn in each side of the adjusting screws on the pads? Thanks so much, Jerry. |
