I ordered 50 today. Shipping and handling is only 6.00 from Global Metric, I'd like to keep ten washers and sell 4 lots of ten @ 7.50 per lot (includes postage... only .75 ea washer!!) Please email me: [email protected] I'll contact the first four and also post an update. I have to mail Global payment before they ship, so it may take some time. Thanks for the great response. Aren't Ferrari owners great?? And thrifty???
P.S. Thanks for the free offers also... I ordered before I even checked the thread because I knew we would all probably need washers!

The closest thing I can come to a metrics supply company is Lowes Hardware and they don't have Sh*t for copper washers. I wish I lived in an area with the resources that alot of you have. Nobody stocks these things around here, always seems to be 'special order' for a 'special price'. That's why I settled for the 7/8". Can you believe it? A fastener supply company that doesn't carry metric washers that big?

Got them for mere pennies at my local Metric fasteners supplier. Want a few?

I found a local industrial bolt supply that carried 7/8" copper washers that came fairly close to the metric washers. They are only 1.0 mm thick instead of 1.5" but the inside and outside diameters are nearly the same. They work in a pinch and cost me 1.49 each.
If you need anymore info E me direct and I'll mic up the washers again for exact dimensions.

I prefer Baldwins because they match the exterior of the car.

Just heat the used one cherry red and let cool in air. You can use them several times. Done this for years.

Don: I would consider a group buy if there is interest.
By the way, any thoughts on oil filters? I just bought a Baldwin B253. If you've had success or trouble with it please let me know. Thanks !

Too bad you missed the "group buy" of 300 or so that we parceled out (www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/112/195955.html)... you could always try to organize another one yourself if there's enough new interest.

Does anyone know where to get the copper sealing washer needed while doing an oil change on an 83 308 GTSI ? I would prefer not to "reheat" the old one. I looked through old threads & found Global Metrics in CA has them, but the minimum order is 25.00!!! The washers are .56 ea.!! Maybe I could sell the extra 43 washers on Ebay??!!!
