Hmmm...maybe this explains why my heater blowers aren't working. A/C is fine (such as it's ever fine). Thanks for the info, it looks like I need to do some more poking around. |

Jimpo - you are looking at the auxiliary electric board, an extension of the fuse panel above the footwell. The box contains nothing but connectors for A/C compressor and blower relays and 4 heater blower relays. On some cars the turn signal flasher relay is also situated here. To the right of the box, you should have timer relays for intermittent wiper and interior lights. On US cars, there is also a fasten seatbelt control unit (might be removed). So if all the A/C and heater blower systems are working, a hole in the box probably doesn't do any harm. Might be a good idea though to cover it up. brgds Kurt |

It should be the control boxes for the warning lights for the Converter overheat system. The slow down lights. |

While trying to repair a faulty CD changer, a technician pointed out to me that the black box attached to the removable portion of the floorboard on the passenger side has a hole the size of a dime smashed in it. The box is about 3x6x2, and it appears that there are 2 of these attached together. Due to the fact that the tech was laying in the floor I didn't get a good look at what it was, but it was obviously a Ferrari part. Does anyone know what it is? |
