I actually removed the factory front plate (& holder) on my TR (ahem, only to clean the area behind it), basically there were a set of 4 "L" brackets with assorted hardware/fasteners that were mounted onto the car by holes in the front grill. Once removed it was not noticable that one ever belonged there, check to see that all your front grill doesn't have these holes (they are NOT directly visible), you have to run your fingers along the grill slats to find them. Does anyone no the thread size of the tow eye screw? I know the car looks great with out the plate, but its not fun when your in a Ferrari pulled over on the side of the road just because your missing your front plate. |

I live in Canada and I'm being told I have to have my front plate on my TR. I was thinking of making a bracket to thread into the hole in the front spoiler. Does anyone know the thread size? Does anyone know what this hole was used for? |
