My ex-2 valve had a flat plastic ring on the backside of the dash to capture the two ribbed tabs sticking back from ignition switch trim piece on the front. |

All 308's have this hole. All 308's have only the trim piece but I also have the key locations labels I, II, III in chrome. |

Would someone please look at their ignition switch on their 80 308 and tell me if there is a hole under their ignition switch (dashboard area) and just slightly to the right of the switch, I need this information so I can be well informed when I talk to the dealership about my car and the ignition key that was broken off when I brought it in for service. Also can anyone tell me if the ignition switch has anything else around it besides the black cover "trim piece" I seem to remember there was more but now I just have the one black trim piece that the shop put back with thick tar like substance and it doesn't hold the trim piece, hope this makes scense,,,! |
