My ex-2 valve had a flat plastic ring on the backside of the dash to capture the two ribbed tabs sticking back from ignition switch trim piece on the front.

All 308's have this hole.
All 308's have only the trim piece but I also have the key locations labels I, II, III in chrome.

Would someone please look at their ignition switch on their 80 308 and tell me if there is a hole under their ignition switch (dashboard area) and just slightly to the right of the switch, I need this information so I can be well informed when I talk to the dealership about my car and the ignition key that was broken off when I brought it in for service. Also can anyone tell me if the ignition switch has anything else around it besides the black cover "trim piece" I seem to remember there was more but now I just have the one black trim piece that the shop put back with thick tar like substance and it doesn't hold the trim piece, hope this makes scense,,,!
