It's funny how a few months ago they were advertising only 1 size (the large ). I guess when they made the small for the group buy they made many more for stock or I guess these are the bushings that they owe us. I didn't install the front yet so I will get 1 just to compare.

It looks like AutoZone is just using the ES part number (with an added suffix):

Tommy, the part # that is on the box is 13.3101G. I am pretty sure that this is Auto Zone's part number.

Oops, Mitchell. I didn't realize that you were trying to sell the larger ones. This didn't hit home until I converted the inch to mm. Doh! I had assumed that everyone involved in that disasterous group buy had returned the 34mm, as I did. I need the 30mm. Thanks anyways,

Hans.

Hans -- your 308 needs the 30 mm OD bushings (not the 34 mm OD -- used on the 348 I believe)

Hans

You are the first taker. I am always glad to help out a fellow GT4 owner. Send the money when you are home, and provide an addres for shipping. make sure they fit, the specs were given.

Mitchell: I've got to run out the door and I won't be back for a few days. If you don't get any takers before then, I'll take them.

(The reason that I won't commit right now is that I can't get a check out until Sunday.)

As a victim of the massive screw up suspension group buy, my $220 paperweights are no good to me, so your gain. These are the specs:

OD: 1.35", ID: 0.56", Length: 2.25"

The first person who can use these 8 Energy Suspension bushings can have it for $50. Contact me if you are interested.

Jerry,
Energy Suspension had made a lot of bushings just for the members ( group buy ). How did you find them and what part # did they give you ??

Greg, I would appreciate the list as well. Jerry, can you post pictures of your home made press? Also, can you expand on the epoxy paint you used. How did you prep the arms?

Thanks

John and Dave. I plan on doing the work myself. I've crawled under the car several times just to inspect how to best carry this out. There are several "how-to" guides on performing this service and I've modified them to my scope of work. As an example, many of the "guides" discuss removing the entire drive shaft and caliper assemblies.

For example on the rear, I believe you can remove the torsion bar, a-arms, and shocks while supporting the rotor with a home-built stand/platform. This way, you won't have to mess with removing the drive shaft or brake calipers if you don't want to. The fronts are similar except no drive shaft to mess with...obviously.

Greg my car is also in need of the work that you are going to be doing. If it would not be too much trouble could you please e-mail the same information. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks---Dave

I am doing all of my control arm bushings right now. I bought Energy Suspension brand at Auto Zone. I think they were around $20/ea x 16. You will need a press to get the bushings installed, I rigged up a great press (former bottle capper) to get the bushings installed. Works perfectly without one scratch on my newly epoxy painted control arms! I also made a tool to press the axle seals in place if anyone wants to borrow it.

T. Rutlands also sells bushing kits, although I'm not sure the price. I'd be interested in a price comparison between all the places.

John, I am in the process of putting together my parts list and I'll be happy to email that to you later this evening. I'll be getting my pricing through two places...Superformance and Nicks. With all of the bushings and ball joints, the total was ~$1000 in parts if my spreadsheet totaled correctly. For example, the inside bushings are ~$18/each and you need 16...$288.

I'll be putting new Koni's in so my grand total is ~$1600 in parts.

By the time you look through your parts manual and mark all of the bushings that should be replaced "while you are in there", it adds up.

John
I've just done all control arm bushings, rack bushings (mounting, inner) tie rod ends, shocks and shock bushings and had a 4 wheel alignment. Ditto Verell, it feels tighter.

The ride is much better, steering more positive & responsive.

Search the archives, there are several threads.

Has anyone ever replaced or had all rubber suspension bushings replaced on 308 QV. Was the ride much better, what was cost and how long did it take any info regarding this matter would be appreciated.
