Charles, Have you tried running a hot wire directly, by passing the fuse panel, to the wire that goes directly into the blower? If the blower works it could be your fuse panel terminals or maybe a loose wire on the fan switch on the console. If the blower does not work then obviously the problem is with the blower and it may be bad or binding. |

Guys and Gals, I wish to ask if anyone has any pointers on this problem. My 77 308 GTB, which I bought a few months ago has had some fuse box problems, which with your help I believe I have solved except this one problem. When I bought the car, the A/C worked great, and then shortly after the problems started with the fuse box the fan stopped blowing on the A/C. It may be the fuse box, but I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do to test it. The compressor and such are fairly new, the previous owner took really good care of the car, and until now, I have not minded open air driving and the engine sound, but in late August, in Georgia, it gets hot, and I'm driving it a fair amount, and would like the air to work again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. |
