Collin, the water pump replacement is not part of the 30k service - it is usually done b/c it requires the engine to be out. The upgraded ECU's are not part of any maintenance service... they are considered upgrades by the service bulletin standard. Original clutch is possible - if the car was well taken care of, the clutch may go as many as 25k miles, possibly even more. Sorry to disappoint you, but those items don't deduct any $$... if anything, you just need to verify if the proper 30k was done 2 years ago... just b/c it was an "engine out" service doesn't mean that all the items in a 30k service (most importantly, belts) were done. I'm looking at a 90 TS w/15K miles. The 30K was done 2 years ago, but the water pump was not replaced. Also, no upgraded ECU. And the original clutch. Are these problems? If so, what value in terms of $$ deducts. do you assign them? Thanks everyone! |
