I found a pair at Auto Zone that worked Great....they open about 1 inch less than the OEM.....no big deal to me.........they were 13 dollars.............. |

Take it off, take it to a large auto parts house, and starting comparing it to what they've got to sell. Bet it is a standard part that Ferrari used. Don't rely upon measurements, physically compare them. Art |

Tazio, Pep Boys sells pnuematic shocks made by Sachs. Some are exact replacements while others are close enough. Prices are very reasonable. |

Cut a broom handle down to size. Jam it in there when lifted. Just kidding. Try some auto-parts stores. Perhaps some generic shocks will work. |

I am asking this question for a friend. He wants to know if there are any cheaper alternatives out there for engine lid shocks that the dealer. |
