Ernie - Man I feel your pain I wish there was something out there that did independent testing of these ECU upgrades. One most NA cars they dont buy you much because all they can really do is fudge with the air fuel mixture, on Turbo cars is where ECU upgrades really shine. If Forza ran a test on them it would be very interesting! It is to hard for someone like us to do it considering each set of chips is 1k plus. |

I wonder if Forza would run a freelance story? If they did, I think it would make doing such a test go alot easier. I wonder if the companies would be willing to donate there product for the test, knowing that it would be featured in the magazine? |

Ernie, If you do, please let me know the results. I've been contemplating on which chip is best for the 348. TAP1.COM is cheaper but I heard Superchips has done more extensive testing and more trusting. |

Thanks fellas, The numbers your cars are putting out are great. These are what should have been coming out of the factory from the get go. I guess I didn't make my question very clear. What I'm getting at, is doing the type of test the magazines do. You know, were they take a particular engine, test it with the stock stuff in place, as a base line. Then swap out the chips with those of an after market company, and dyno it again. Then using the same engine or car, swap the chip/s for that of another company. So on and so forth. Until they have gone through them all, and give the comparative results at the end. I'm guessing no one has. I think that something like that should be done. Not only with chips, but exhausts systems, air filters, spark plugs, etc. What do you guys think? |

Okay Guys What company makes the best ECU upgrade chip. Has any one ever tested them head to head on a dyno? With all the off different kinds i.e. Superchips, Digi-Tec, Carobu, Koenig, etc. Which one do you choose from??? They all claim about the same increase. But who's chip really does what it says it will? |
