Thanks Tom,

I looked all around under the dash and could not find this thing?

I need a more detailed explination of where or what this thing is. I don't want to start pulling up carpet or taking things apart until I know where or which pannel this thing is behind? You are not talking about the black box in the console that all of the warning lights are in are you?

Thanks,
Bill

In the front area on the passenger area is a black box. About the size of a softball. This is the counter. There is a small silver cap on it. Pull the cap off and poke something like a very small screwdriver in the hole and you will hear what sounds like a ball fall inside the box. You have just reset it.

I have an '86 Mondial 3.2. The "service due" light just came on. I just completed the major service. How do I turn this light off or reset it?

Bill
