I can find part number probably.

Make sure its not in the speedometer itself. My speedo went inop and I thought it was the sending unit. Come to find out it was actually a gear in the speedo

Don's recommendation is a good one, I paid around $125 or so from T.Rutlands a year and a half ago; it was also for a carb car.
Something that seems to never fail on any other brand of car, but fail every 5-10 years on a Ferrari,...go figure.

I already checked with Ferrari UK but in the US, what is the cost for the speedometer pulse generator that is on the differential housing on the back of the car? Any ideas where is a cheap place to find it?
