Check and make sure the system is charged and if it is jump the pressure switch. Kelly and I both had the same problem on our 308 this past week his went deeper as he had a short in the wire from the harness to the compressor. |

There has to be at least 50 lbs. of pressure in the system for the low pressure switch to work. The switches are at the receiver/dryer which is under the cover in the front boot. |

Does anybody know where the AC pressure switch is located? I have a 82 308 gtbi euro. I looked breifly and could not see one. The AC clutch is recieving no power, the dash switch is sending power out and the cooling fans come on when the switch is energized. So I figured there must be a pressure switch either unplugged or bad. The compressor is not that old and there is freon in the system. The previous owner had the work done just before I bought the car, but did not come on when I purchased it. He thought it was a bad dash switch, but it checks ok....any advice? thanks |
