If your jackstands don't have built-in rubber pads, I'd put a small piece of wood (say a short piece of 1" x 2" in the flat direction) between the metal jackstand pad and the frame to protect the finish (on the frame). |

I was wondering how to properly put the 308 on stands? After months of procrastination, I am finally going to refinish my QV wheels. Can the stands go right against the frame? or do you suggest using the 4x's? Any help would be most appreciated. |
