Oh yes, I forgot, the front ash-tray, it helps to remove that as well.

I only pulled my console up, I didn't remove it from the car, so the following is an educated guess:

All of the switches must be dettached from the panel (undo the little ring-nuts, or plain nuts on some), pop the window switches out, slide the plastic hand-brake grip off. Of course, remove the shift gate and knob, the radio, etc...

I found that it helped to remove the front section by the gas-pedal and when pulling the main console off, you have to spread it to clear the seat-belt mounts (the fit is tight as the mounts pass THROUGH the console).

I have two questions,

1. What are the rough steps on removing the center console on a GT4. Looks a bit involved with all the switches, and the handbrake (mine has the boot that is sewn on to the console)

2. Where do the antenna wires go from the switch on the console? Up toward the dash and then back to the rear of the engine? Or, toward the rear immediately. I am trying to find the point where the two wires are shorted together. Hints are welcome.

Thanks
Mitchell
