Last time I had my 328 checked out by my mechanic he said the Lambda and the throttle switch were not working. I ran some tests and found that when I grounded the O2 sensor lead the rough and very low idle almost disappeared and the car seemed to run fine which led me to believe the car was running too lean. Could not get any readings to set up the throttle switch so I took the car back in and found out some idiot hacksawed the end of the throttle shaft and set up the sensor to only function at WOT but not idle. This means (and my mechanic confirmed this) that the car is running way too rich. I'm very confused. If any Bosch masters wanna take a crack at this, be my guest. |
