re:"Did you get anymore Hp and Torque and a better total graph."

This is the important question!!!

Search the archives for several similarly long threads on EGI EFI, K-Jetronic

Bottom line is that the BOSCH mechanical system does a very good job on a stock engine/intake/exhaust configuration.

EGI only makes sense if you're making significant other performance mods (eg: turbo/supercharge or at least things like: lsrger throttle body, custom exhaust, compression ratio, porting, custom cam profiles...) that the BOSCH K-jetronic simply can't deal with.

Also, might make sense if the BOSCH J-jet fails such that it can't be economicly rebuilt & would have to be replaced.

The haltech is not a bolt-on. You need to drill and tap for sensors, slice wires, ect., you can use the stock crank pick-up though. The tuning, I do the cruising stuff by plugging in a laptop and driving, you can read off the output from the O2 sensor. You can do that at full power to, but what mixture do you pick? 13.5:1 maybe. To get it perfect you need to go to the track or on the dyno. I've use a big long hill where I could open the throttle for a mile or 2 at a time then do a plug read.

Guys,
Is the Haltech a take out and plug in kit? Did you have to fiddle around alot, make brackets, shift other components, etc.? For the set-up to get mixtures and programmes 'spot-on' do you need a dyno or any other equipment that is beyond a home DIY job? Thanks for the feedback.

I've been very happy with the haltech e6k I'm running. It appears to be a lot more flexable on set-up choices than the 034 and similarly priced when you add the sensors and wiring that are included with the haltech.

The German system looked great, but expensive. Has anyone priced it?

I saw this site the other day and did a search on here and didn't see any posts about it.

http://www.drivewireaccessories.com/partssearch2.cfm?searchquery=Holley&vehmake=Ferrari&cat=EFI%20TBI%20Kits&keywordtype=manufacturer&veh=308%20Gts

It's made by a mainstream company, anyone have any input?

There is a F-car 308 ready system made in Germany and available in the USA by LENZKAR POWERKAT.

See link below:

Has anyone tried it?

Has anyone had any experience with trying to implement this system on a Ferrari V-8?
