The dots on the switches and the plugs should match. They are there to ensure correct assembly.
If in doubt whether the plugs sits on the correct wires you can check the wiring diagram on the Steve Jenkins site.
However, I seriously doubt that that would be the case.

Greetings.

I have a question regarding the wiring to the 4 switches at the rear of the console (parking lights, antenna, and whatever else they are)

When I opened up my console, I found that the switches were color coded with small colored dots (white, green, yellow, red), but while the colors matched the wiring harness (once again, white, green, yellow, red) the switches weren't plugged into the same color harness. Is this car miswired, or are the color codes intended for some other purpose? Can anyone verify the color codes on their car?
