Thanks for the reponse. No I haven't tried Sodacom (?), but did call Maranello Concessionaires only to be told they have 11 of the part i'm looking for on back order! They are supposed to have some fabricated, with no clear timetable. Besides I'm in the southeastern part of the US, so any repair facility would have to be somewhat close by. Hence my considering an aftermarket fix. What is Sodacom and where are they located? |

First welcome to Ferrarichat Olivier! Did you try Sodacom's or Ferrari UK? They are both sponsors of Ferrarichat and you can also find Dave from Sodacom's and Jeff from Ferrari UK on the board. |

Does anyone know of a facilty that could repair the mechanism on my sunroof? The so-called 'leverage' in the sunroof mechanism has broken end clips (plastic). This part is no longer available from the factory and several searches for replacement part worldwide have proven fruitless. Another option is replacing the entire assembly with an aftermarket unit - still using the OEM steel panel. Does anyone know who could do such a job? Thanks in advance for any info... car's great on sunny days what with a big hole in the roof, but... |
