Why David, is it sticking up a bit? Mine was kinked when I got it. I carefully worked out the dent in the antenna and disassembled the motor unit, cleaned thoroughly and re-lubed. Over the years, water seeped down the antenna and filled the motor housing, corroded the s--- out of it. Now it goes up like a rocket and down just as fast. It'll use a plastic coil, wrapped around a tapered drum, that pushes/pulls the antenna up/down. |

I must have an aftermarket unit, and it is not working properly. David |

David, I think it is part of the style of the car but, some time ago J.C. Whitney had a windshield antenna that installed on the windshield which was a clear tape with small{thread like} wires inside the tape. Much like the antennas in the windshields of older G.M. cars in the 70's. Then just keep your antenna out of sight. |

Even when it's fully down? Mine just sticks up about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. |

I find the 328's antenna obtrusive. Has anyone made a concealed antenna or found a better looking replacement? |
