Actually that is a gas that is produced from the emulsifiers in a silicone based product such as Armor All and many others. Suggest you Leatherique the entire inside (not just dash) with both Rejuvenator and Pristine. Would forgo the 303 until you are sure the problem has been resolvedthen a light spray of 303 for UV. Make sure you dont use any silicone anywhere, including seats, shift boot, steering wheel, etc. Just because its forming on the front window does not mean the silicone is on the dashhad that problem on a P-Car and discovered the silicone I used on the vinyl headliner caused the problem. Ditto on the Autoglym -

Dom, maybe the Leatherique Klear Kote might help -- it is for vinyl in addition to leather -- I haven't tried Klear Kote, so it's just a suggestion. I used to have that problem on various cars and haven't seen it recently -- thought it was the 303 that eliminated. My Mondial has a leather dash, but it doesn't have this problem (possibly because of the shape of the dash and possibly because I don't park it in the sun much). |

I do use 303. But when I sit in the sun, I still get the haze on the inside of the windows. For now, I bought one of those window sun blockers, and that helps a little. Dom |

Leatherique makes a product called "Klear Kote" (their spelling not mine) for leather. I haven't tried it, but it's possible it would help reduce the fog. It also contains UV protection so it will definitely help protect the dash leather from the sun. The "fog" from the vinyl dash is very likely caused by armorall. 303 Aerospace protectant is much better than Armorall and doesn't have this problem. It also contains UV sunscreen to protect sun-exposed areas. The 303 is NOT for leather. I bought it from www.performanceproducts.com, but I'm sure it's available elsewhere. For cleaning the windows, I found a one-time application of Autoglym glass polish (http://properautocare.com/) made the glass much cleaner and subsequently easier to cleen. I'm no fan of Armorall products, but their window wipes actually work pretty well. |

Dom, I'm pretty sure the 308 is vinyl also... |

Why don't you just try buying one of those carpet dash covers, that are made to fit. If you can't find one, you can get an uppolstery shop to make you one. I'm not sure it will solve your problem but it should slow it down. |

Hmm, does anyone know if the 308 GT4 dash is leather? I've assumed it was vinyl, but I noticed the same thing with my windows. Perhaps leather and vinyl have the same properites? When I park in the sun, I get the hazy windows. Dom |

A leather dash and the sun do not mix to begin with. I cannot understand why Ferrari went back to this. The velcro tab thing sounds like a very good idea. If it is in the sun a lot, you should keep it covered. To find out what happens if you don't, check out an early TR or Porsche 928 |

Yikes, I've put tiny velcro tabs on the dash corners, and I've been velcro-ing a towel over the dash, but the seats and the damn "250GT" package shelf still emit the crap!! |

Thats what it is and it's a disaster. It's as if they expect you to never park outside. My TR did this every time I parked. Don't let this build up, use a good glass cleaner. Stupid! Best Jim |

Does anyone have a good solution for the fog that I'm getting on my 550's windows when I park it outside as the temp goes up? Is this what I think, tanning agents in the leather vaporizing and "goo-ing" up the windows? I've tried a soft towel over the dash, but not really effective! |
