I found a poor substitute at an auto parts store. The problem is that they are rectangular in cross section, not square. Still, a reasonably close fit. You'll have to file the sides just a little to get them to fit. Also, they are a touch too long. I filed a "V" groove in the end (which was flat), which took care of the length prob. Filko # J10 |

not sure if anyone has this info or not but I was able to track down a brush assembly for the early 308 fan motors...the lucas part numbers are WKB102 or 54701528...this part includes the brush holder complete with springs and brushes...this was the last one my british parts guy had...he is trying to track down some more..apparently they have been on back order from lucas for 6 months. |
