Truly a sad state of affairs. I have been looking for proper tires for my Daytona for months and finally settled on Pirelli P600s 235/60 15. Just not much out there anymore in 15 inch dia rims.

Hi..........

Unfortunately, the supply of tires with a VR rating in the 70% aspect ratio series diminishes day by day.

My Boxer carries Michelin Sport XGTs - F = P235/60VR-15 and R = P255/60VR-15 on the Cromodora wheels - with no problems of tire rub or excessive visual exposure of suspension "bits". Even these relatively new Michelin tires are no longer listed in the Tire Rack inventory.

I fear that all Boxer owners must either buy new wheels or form a group to place a single large order for the XWX tires with Coker/Michelin.

Sad times !!!

Doug

I think Dave must have the metric rims - hence you must get metric tires which only mich and maybe avon makes. Of course you can get new rims

Just wondering, why doesn't anyone put more modern tires on their Boxers with stickier rubber. It appears from tirerack that you can get 215 and 225/70/15 in a variety of tires. With 7.5" and 9.5" rims, you could probably even fit 225 and 235's on there. Just wondering because with the supply of originals so low, I may want to remove my under 1000 mile XWX's and save them.

When to previous owner of my bb512 had it being serviced at Norwoods last year, they put on a brand new set. Maybe they have a set or a contact.

It appears that this tire is no longer available from Michelin/Coker. I need a new set of rear tires for a BB512. Short of having new wheels made to fit the newer sizes, does anyone have a replacement suggestion? Tire Rack, etc don't seem to want to help, either.
