Hi Dino...I bought some generic belts from JC Whitney and secured them to the stock mounting positions. There are a couple of brackets that must be used on the b-pillar to move the anchor point to a good location. The retractors went in the stock locations at the bottom of the door sill area, I had to grind the housings on mine, and angle them forward, to get them to fit. Ferrari didn't leave much room for a full-belted retractor, since they only needed a lap belt and the shoulder belt had it's own retractor in the console. I used a swivel loop up where the shoulder-mouse used to be, and a sliding clasp. It isn't perfect, but I didn't have to do any mods to the interior. I posted a couple of pics some time ago...but can't find them now. Maybe search the archives. There is a member of fchat that has converted over a couple of cars using factory pieces, it's not cheap but the results are top notch. I'll try and find his name if you want to inquire about this solution.

Got the letter from Ferrari in the mail today. I've already changed my TR over to conventional seat belts, would not want the motorized belts put back in. The letter states that I may be entitled to reimbursement for "fixing" the defective system. So I'm going to add up everything and submit it to them and see what happens. Does anyone think I have a chance to recover anything?
