You could also feel the liquid. Coolant is very slippery to the touch compared to water. |

I just picked-up my '85 308qv from the shop today (minor tune-up before the Summer driving season), and I noticed when I got home, water was dripping out of what appears to be a drain hose located just behind (cockpit side) where the spare wheel is located. Looking under the car in this location is where I see this hose. Anyway, I called my mechanic and he said it was probably just water draining from the car since he had just sprayed it off before I picked it up (this is true). Is there some sort of drain system for water that collects up in the front? I've never noticed this after washing the car. Another theory of mine is air conditioner condensation. I ran the air conditioner full-blast the entire way home (about an hour). Could it be water draining from this system? It is definitely just water. I touched it, smelled it, drank a gallon of it (just kidding). For that reason, it can't be the cooling system. That being the case, where is there pure water in the car? Any ideas? I definitely want to know what that hose/tube is. Thanks. |
