You probably need a MSD tach amplifier. I needed one for my Electromotive system.

I have installed a direct fire/ EFI (Electromotive TEC-3) system on my car and now the Tach does not work.
Anyone know what the signal output from the old Digiplex 801a was--is it 120v? 12v square wave?

Anyone encounter this before?
