You have to look at the treads to see if they're 'tapped' into the mounting flange itself or whether the threads are of the inserted (heli-coil) type.

A heli-coil is a seperate coil (like a spring) wound tight in the form of threads.

How do you tell if your brake Caliper mounting holes are Hei-coil or not. The torques are very different. Mine is a 1983 308.
