Thanks Magoo. Putting another MC on would be a last resort as the mounting bolts would have to be repositioned. The pushrod pressures & travel is not a problem. BMW use a similar stepped MC on certain models.I'll ring Nick and see what he has to say, since everyone says he is very helpful.Keep you posted.

Peter, Why don't you give Nick Scianna a call about the master cyl. and see what he recommends. 360-332-7779. He may know where you can get overhaul kits or rebuilds. As far as adapting another M.C. to the booster, I think that would be pretty tricky because you have pressure requirements as well as length of push rod travel to coincide with the orig. linkage that is now in your car.

Had a stuck rear caliper piston. Gunk & corrosion! Decided to pull all the calipers of the car for cleanup & reseal. The calipers are the same as Alfa, so no parts problem with the caliper piston seals. I also pulled the MC and booster out.I have been told seal kit for the MC is not available. Also some 308's had a stepped MC. If I can't find the correct seal kit, I thought of re-sleeving MC to a size that has available seals or adapting an other similar MC to the booster. Has anyone tried this ?
