Ouch! Now you're asking for something beyond my expertise. I can cut and weld pipe, but this electronic stuff is beyond me. Maybe my nephew knows how... I'll ask.

Aluminized pipe, then powder coated after all welding is done. Forgot to mention I added the fittings for oxygen sensors too.

Bill: Are these aluminized steel, or stainless, pipes and resonators?

Thanks

Henryk,
Pipes are 1-7/8". Used two 90 degree bent pipes per section (total 8) bent as sharp as possible on conventional muffler shop bending machine. One end of each is swedged out to slip over the other. Flanges are Chevy two-bolt, with Chevy exhaust packing gasket which fits Ferrari header. The resonators are Corvette "C4" ('84 & later) series aftermarket type as sold through mail-order catalog. Cut the forward end of each resonator as near to the fiberglass portion as possible and weld to the bent pipes.

Yes, it's a little loud, but not in the cabin. However when you get the revs up, holy cow! This thing sounds like an old 312T F1 engine.

Bill: I have a Tubi exhaust, with the pre-cats gutted out.

What size tubing did you use? Isn't your sound rather loud, due to just straight pipes? Is the sound also of a deep hollow one? Are those small resonators behind the tips?...if so, what kind? What kind of tips did you use?

Thanks

Here are a couple of pictures. The sound is somthing I have never heard before in a Ferrari. It is not too loud while idling or cruising, but after 4,000 RPM it becomes a very deep hollow sound. It sounds better than my Boxer, which has both, Tubi headers and exhaust. It must be the 4- valve heads of the TR?Upload
