You can get aftermarket blocks from Napa (glass type fuses) or JC Whitney(blade type fuses). It's a rather inexpensive and easy change. |

Time for new boxes as corrosion (which increases resistence) builds up in the rivet connections at each and every fuse. Replace both boxes immediately, well worth it. |

REAL common problem. Caused by slight corrosion in the rivets and other fusebox parts, which heat up and further worsen the problem If it's too far gone, get a new fuse box. Else, you can clean and solder the connections. Even if you get a new box, solder the connections anyway, as the problem will eventually return. Hans. (who's been there, done that!) |

My fuse panels are warming up. The plastic over the fuel pump fuse is begining to melt and the tabs on the panel move. Questions: is this a common problem What are the fixes. Are there after market panels with baonet type fuses.
