Randall, do you have a part # for the NAPA box?

You can get aftermarket blocks from Napa (glass type fuses) or JC Whitney(blade type fuses). It's a rather inexpensive and easy change.

Time for new boxes as corrosion (which increases resistence) builds up in the rivet connections at each and every fuse. Replace both boxes immediately, well worth it.

REAL common problem. Caused by slight corrosion in the rivets and other fusebox parts, which heat up and further worsen the problem

If it's too far gone, get a new fuse box. Else, you can clean and solder the connections.

Even if you get a new box, solder the connections anyway, as the problem will eventually return.

Hans. (who's been there, done that!)

My fuse panels are warming up. The plastic over the fuel pump fuse is begining to melt and the tabs on the panel move.
Questions:
is this a common problem
What are the fixes.
Are there after market panels with baonet type fuses.
