I just went the whole waterpump thing....I heard about the polishing and the consensus is that it really does not make much difference, yes slight flow improvement in theory. Nick Forza does this to his pumps I think. Dutchman doesn't , the Dutchman is cheaper though. There is also a oem replacement that has a plastic (oh sorry "composite" ) impeller that is supposed to be from a F40 and save horsepower (yeah maybe .5 hp). those are the choices out there.

I choose dutchman for price and reliability,

I saw this advertised, but do you think it provides that much of a change in flow? This seems like something I could do at home with a Dremmel and some polishing attachments. I'm asking because I have a couple water pumps laying around and was wondering if it's worth the effort.
