For the semi gloss, use a catalyzed urethane. |

The correct color for the wheels is Glassurit F 101 C which was the same color as the silver the cars were painted back then. It is a very fine silver. The top coat should be semi gloss. If you have campagnolo wheels then you will need to get some decal available on e-bay and apply before the clear coat. What ever you do after painting sand the conical surface of the wheel inserts where the bolts ride if not the paint will peel here like it did on my wheels. |

Tony, what if you call the F Dealer in NC and ask if they have a body shop. Ask them the color and top coat. Shouldn't be difficult to do since you know how to spray. |

308 wheels were chipped. I removed all paint, then scuff sanded and washed.Then primer, basic grey. Next step would be paint (if I knew the correct color, and top coat (if I knew what to use). I have good spraying knowledge from my business of restoring furniture and use Binks gun. Advice appreciated. Regards, Tony |
