I didn't look at Peter's links, but you can get rev limiters on certain high energy ignition systems. If you don't have one already, it might be a good way to kill two birds with one stone.... I'm sure Nick could help you here. |

Companies like Lumenition, Micro Dynamics, Armtech, Omex, etc... all make rev limiters. All are resonably priced and easy to install. I have no experience with them, but friends of mine have used them in their street/race cars with usual success. I don't know where you can find them here in North America, but check out Demon Tweeks in England, they carry them all: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk Here's Lumenition's site: http://www.lumenition.com They should be safe with some electronic systems, but they will specifically mention what will work and what won't. |

Does anyone know who makes a Rev Limiter for an 84 308. Back in 1985, Jacobs Engineering sold me a rev limiter for a mazda, which also had two distributors, and said it would work on a Ferrari. Never installed it because I was scare it would mess up the electronic ignition. Now that I have another 84 308, Im looking for a rev limiter for it. Any ideas |
