Can only tell u what momo told me the montecarlo will not fit an early 308 without a hub adapter that is obsolete.

I just double checked those early, early, 2V inj. cars. It was not a Momo but a silver spoked Nardi. Ferrari changed it to black spoke because it went better with the new black instrument pod that came with the new design changes on the inj models

The 308's used a silver spoked MOMO on all the carb cars and a few early (and I mean very early) inj 2V cars. The remaining inj. 2V's all had this type Nardi with black spokes. They switched to the MOMO Monte Carlo style on all the 308 4Vs.

what year 308. ?The early 308's will not accept the monte carlo without a huib adapter that is no longer available. And I have tried to talk to momo and they gave me the bums rush. Their cusatomer service was very poor. Get it recovered. Will be cheaper than any other option.

If your leather is okay, not cut or damaged you can re dye it yourself for about $10.00, this will even work if it looks rough

Find a leather shop they sell a black dye and an acrylic sealer you put on to give back the sheen

You lightly sand the leather, redye it with black then reseal it with the sealer, that you dilute with water and apply with a sponge, I did this on my prev 911 wheel and it came out perfect

Wow, Dr. Cosgrove....AGLA did a much better job recovering your 308 wheel than they did recovering my P-car's wheel! In fact, I was going to send them my 308's wheel next for recover, but was so disapointed in the quality / workmanship on the 944 wheel that I changed my mind. The service isn't exactly cheap either (nor a very fast turnaround time) -- about $300 for the P-car and over $400 for the F-car. Thanks for posting the pics.

Randall:
My 2 cents:
I had the same issue in my 328.
I decided to get a non-stock Momo on EBay.
I'm glad I did--it is a much more modern, comfortable wheel. I would not recommend getting a stock one--you already have one.

I have a Nardi black spoked wheel off of a 1980 308. I had it recovered last year. I think it was around $300 or so to do it. I do not have the invoice here at work but it was the people in the back of Forza (ALGA?)that restored it. Black leather with white stitching. I used it for a couple of months until I found a used one that had "Ferrari" on the lower center spoke.
It still looks brand new. The first $175 can have it.

Randall,
A Momo wheel will not mount to your Nardi hub. It is a different bolt pattern. You need a Momo hub or hub adapter. If you have a Nardi steering wheel I assume you have a 1980-1982 308.Just my 2 cents.

Also got a Momo Monte Carlo for $100 mail order.
Don't have to buy an adaptor - mounts up perfectly to stock hub and is exactly like a 328/qv wheel except for black stitching.

Good luck

It's for a 308. I looked on Ferrari UK, but couldn't come up with a Nardi steering wheel.

the nardi's turn up on e-bay from time to time (mostly used)...I was able to purchase a new old stock momo for my 78 308 for $150 from an ebay company name Veloce in Germany....also an inexpensive replacement is the Momo montecarlo which looks almost exactly like the 308 QV wheel...they are about $130.

My steering wheel is a little decayed on top and I've finally grown tired of it being an eyesore, not to mention sticky. From what I've seen recovering is around $300, and I heard mixed reviews as to the quality. I have a Nardi wheel on there now, and I'm happy with the look and feel of it. Does anyone know of where I can track down another one of these, or find a cheaper place to get it fixed?
