Thanks Darrell, I was wondering what the next line is after the 195 is. I think it is 225. |

I had the same problems with my 1984 308QV. Heres how i finally fixed it: 1. New temperature guage to make sure the fans come on correctly. 2. By pass switch so if I am sitting in traffic I can turn on the fans before the car gets to 195. This works great after comming off the highway and the temp is in the 175-190 range and you are about to hit stop and go traffic. I also invested in a laser temperature sensor, so I can take readings on my car to determine the hot spots. it works great and is a blast to use. After two years of problems I ran my car yesterday in 90 degree weather and no issues. In stop and go it got to about 205 but no higher. |

I have a qv in Fla. It's not unusual to see 200-205 in sitting traffic with 90 degree plus heat. When I get on the hyway, it's 190-194 or 5. I don't like to run the A.C. in stop and go because I don't like to see my needle head too far north. |
