There is a single philips screw under the lever in the doorsill to undo. Undo the cable at the latch and pull the whole thing out. Good luck getting the cable back through.

I need to remove the release lever for the engine cover on my 308QV.Do I just disconnect the cable at the catch in the boot/trunk,and then the lever and trim will pull forward or is the lever fixed in someway,and if so how.
