The basic steps are:

1) Remove brake pads.
2) Disconnect hydraulic hard line at caliper.
3) Disconnect hard line at junction to soft line.
4) Remove two bolts holding caliper to carrier noting the shims that are in place.

The front pads can be used to press back the front calipers, just open the bleed screw and they can be pressed back by hand.

Here�s a picture of the front suspension, with the brake specific pieces encircled in red.

How are the calipers removed on a 308. On the front pads what it the best tool to depress the piston with. I noticed on the rears that it uses an allen wrench to remove the brake pads.
