Many thanks for all your help. The battery is in the back.
If it was coolant, I thought the filler is way over to the right (mid) rear section, how does it travel all the way to drip off to the left rear corner ?

Really puzzling, temp appears normal after a few rounds at the red line, appreciate more self help suggestions before I surrender to the shop ?

thanks everyone.

Your battery is in the left rear corner and if it was battery acid leaking, it would be corroding through everything it touches - also, it's not slippery and green. Coolant is.

To replace a battery in the early 348s, it's easiest to disconnect the cables, jack up the left rear, remove the wheel and rear inner fender liner and pull the battey out through the wheel well.

That sounds like coolent leaking. I always thought the battery was behind the left front wheel, not in the rear.

You can change the battery, but you have to remove the front wheel, the inner fender liner, then change the battery.

Are you sure your battery is in the back? Mine is in the front. I would also say is coolant as a battery leak would be pretty nasty.

Green liquid (quite slippery) is leaking from the left rear corner of the car just behind the left rear wheel. Since this is where the battery is located, I suspect its the battery fluid leaking from the battery. There seems to be no starting problem, could it be a battery leak?

Any suggestions on what to do?
1. Use the car as usual until it does not start?
2. change the battery ? is it something that we can do ourselves? Appreciate some guidance on the removal of the battery.

Thanks
