just to add to the confusion - when I did the valve adjustment on my 90 TR the F auth (Dealer) tech said that they were the same shims that are in Fiat and Volvo and VERY common - I seem to remember he said something about the OEM supplier being the same (who would have guessed Ferrari and FIAT? lol). I don't think they were the same as EVERY Fiat and Volvo engine but this was his statement.

Trying not to be an alarmist but.....
I would be very careful about substituting shims meant for other cars into your F car. Materials can be different, hardness can be different(both the surface hardness as well as the depth of hardness) and how the top and bottom are ground can be different. You wouldn't want to put just anything in this critical area and find out later why it wouldn't work.

Not being picky here but 2-Valves use 33mm...
Looks like it is F-specific, only size close to the 328's 28mm are Honda/Toyota at 25mm. S.O.L.
How is everything else with your rebuild Bernie? |

Parkerfe, Fiat 124 shims are 32mm, would fit the 2 valve head, nothing smaller to fit the 328.

Whoever makes the ones you know of should be able to make them too, or maybe refer you to who does. |

Are there any valve shims that fit the 328 other than Ferrari? I know of shims for the 2 valve head but these are larger in diameter. (32mm vs 28)
