Did you know the Lusso had an option available that would allow the driver to open the passenger door by pullin a lever on the console. The Ad showed a picture of a man pulled over to pick up a good looking woman and opening the door for her in that manner. Maybe an old Lusso part was installed in your car by mistake. Ha Ha |

Actually on the 348 the interior door handle is a cable to the lock mechanism. The easiest way to see what is going on in your door is to take off the louvers from the outside. This will give you a clear view of the window and lifter mechanism and a contorted but usable view of the door lock mechanism.

There is a steel rod going from the internal door handle, to the latch mechanism. There could be something in your door, that is being caught by the window going down and is catching on the rod, or the lever on the latch.
Remove the door panel, its the only way to find out what IS happening. |

My passenger door window when being rolled down opens the door as well. Has anyone else ever had
this problem and how did they fix |
