The adapters should be compatible, can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be. The AQ should be a nice fix/upgrade. Unless there is something I'm not aware of I wouldn't hesitate to use AQ. |

Look in the Summit racing catalog. Aeroquip has a new line of hose just for AC applications. |

Go to an A/C repair specialist facility. They have the equipment to fabricate custom lines for you. My suggestion is not to reinvent the wheel for this one, too much potential for aggravation/lost time/ further damage. |

I have a 512TR and the AC line was damaged by a rat looking for some Italian food. It is the line which runs from the evaporator to the condenser. I have removed the 5' hose. (Which was a pain as it required removal of the front bumper and the condenser.) I have heard good things about Aeroquip hoses in other applications, none on a Ferrari, and am considering replacing the AC hose with an Aeroquip steel braided AC line as described in the following links: http://www.aeroquip.com/pages/whatshot.html http://www.aeroquip.com/media/A-SPPE-MC0001-E.pdf http://www.aeroquip.com/media/A-SPPE-MS002-E.pdf I am not sure if their adaptors are compatible with my system. I plan on installing myself and having a professional recharge system. I would appreciate any thoughts on the compatibility or advisability of using the Aeroquip lines on my R12 system or any other issues I should address before recharging the system. I am not concerned with loss of concours points.
