Thank you for the advice. Removed the headrest last evening. Simply put the top down to gain maximum access, lowered the headrest to maximize travel and pulled up quickly. There is no mechanical latch to unlock. The posts have machined V's that lock the unit at the desired setting. Once past the last V the unit was free. Requires more force and speed than I anticipated.
Hope this helps.

John,

I recall a thread discussing this before, there are some hidden points within the seat back that have to have pressure applied, although there was some dispute around where the exact location of the pressure points were...maybe try a thread search, or as I would do, have a fumble around the leather rear with finger tips to try and feel something that is button like, maybe whilst applying upward force to the appropriate head restraint.

Attempting to remove the headrests from my 348 spider to complete finishing of seats. Understand the headrests remove by pulling upwards. Have used considerable force with no success.
Experienced tips appreciated. Do not wish to damage using excess force.
Thanks
John
