Erik, $20 seems like a steal! I thought I saw those suckers going for near $100 bucks! I'm taking Mike's suggestion and doing the Home Depot route. No Concours for my car. Dave, I think that the foam strips forces the warm air flow out through the hood grilles more directly. |

Do you think that these foam pieces make a difference on how hot your car runs? I do not have these on in my car and it does run a bit hot in traffic. |

I got mine from GT Car for under $20, ya a bit spendy. |

Dealers and T Rutlands have it, but it's outrageously expensive for what it is. You can get similar foam weatherstrip from Home Depot or Lowes and cut it yourself. |

Does anyone have a good picture or know the correct way to install foam strip on underside of hood where it meets the top of radiator ('84' 308). Old one is totally disintegrated so can't reference. Trying to figure out whether the new one installs with flat edge facing out towards radiator top or angled edge facing out. any help appreciated. |
