All sorted out now guys, thanks for your help. Tyres were put on facing the correct way, the wheels however, were on the wrong way..dur! All present and correct now. Toyo's look good, very grippy in the wet too. |

Craig, if the tyres are 'directionals' (probably) I would think best to keep the wheels the wrong way around till the tyres are swapped over |

The blades of the rim are positioned to move air through the braking apparatus for cooling purposes. |

Craig Before you go spend $500 on new tires, why don't you just switch the rims from one side to the other. If I am not mistaken thats all what is wrong. You have the right side rims on the left, and the left sides on the right. So just swap sides. However the treads on the tires will be facing the wrong way, but at least the rims will be in the right direction. One other thing. This was a mistake made by the company that put the tires on your car. So..... I would go back to them and have them put the tires on the right way, free of charge, and if you have to get a new set I would think that you should get them to give you a nice discount. |

Ferrari should have marked the wheels clearly, they end up on the wrong side all the time. If you have tires with directional tread, make sure they are also pointed in the correct direction. |

Go to Ferrariusa.com, then to *past models.* The correct answer is documented with pictures of the cars, no questions or doubts. aehaas |

Just had a look at photos of 3 348's (including mine) and the blade faces the rear (when the blade is at the top of the wheel - obviously its the other way around at the bottom). Here's photos of two cars to clarify: Justyn.

Hi, just got my car back from having new tyres fitted. The car now has the blade section of the wheel facing forwards.(does that make sense?) I'm sure it was the other way around before. The garage claim that they were on the wrong way around before. Does anyone have a definitive answer ? |
